Our goal in the community development, would be to enrich the fundamental educational skills, by providing the basic computer software programs to those that may be on the higher operative level of Autism. Our program is placed in the undeserved and underprivileged communities that will assist with the educational growth of our young adults between the ages of thirteen thru seventeen years old. However, while our intentions are meaningful for this FREE program, our budget, at this time, is depleting. Up until now, most of the expenses have been covered by our Founders Rev. Dr. Jasmine L. Booker & Mr. Christopher Booker and or from a few volunteer staff members that may have had extra resources to provide, for this much needed cause.
We are appealing to the goodwill of your generosity in assisting us with moving this project forward and providing an opportunity for a total of 25 young boys and girls to receive the “Gift of Learning.” Our goal is to raise $35,000 dollars for this project to stay on track for our Grand Opening day of June 4, 2018 and to continue with an ongoing year round program. Any amount of a donation you are able to provide would greatly be appreciated from the students and our volunteer staff.

Dear Supporters, Friends, and Families,
On behalf of Booker Autism Foundation of Learning, Inc. (BAFOL), we are pleased to announce BAFOL’s Fundraising Dinner on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at the KYE’S l, located at 500 Missouri Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. This year’s theme is “Heart of the Community” and, honors community spirit and partnership that enabled BAFOL to achieve significant milestones over the last year on behalf of our families and children. Over 300 business, civic, national & local community leaders have been invited to gather at the BAFOL Gala to celebrate our collective work in building healthy, thriving Autism families and community.
We ask you to join us as our Fundraising Gala Sponsor. Your support will allow us to reach more vulnerable children and teens with quality programs that change lives and strengthen families. Since 2012, BAFOL has been steadfastly serving the needs of various families in the greater KY, IN, GA, TN area. Last year, over 50 children and adults were served Holiday Gift Bags filled with a dinner, dessert, and toys for Christmas. And, being a 100% volunteer ran and operated organization with no budget, we were able to personally assist families in getting the vital programs and services they needed. Such as: mental health services, child nutrition & wellness services. And, our very own BYC Executive Director established a BAFOL BEARS ART CAMP to work with the colleges in Autism Support Activities and Services. As well as a BAFOL PC Lab, in partnership with the YMCA.
We humbly ask for your support on this special night to celebrate the strength, heart and soul of our community. We have attached information regarding our sponsorship levels. All donations will be recognized in our program book, auction table, social media platforms and website www.bafol.org/events. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent provided by law (Federal Tax ID# 45-4871106). Any donation would be greatly appreciated, large or small.

BAFOL, Inc. invites families with children on the Spectrum of Autism to join us for a sensory-friendly guided Summer Enrichment Program, that is a break from the traditional scholastic atmosphere. Our BAFOL BEARS ART Program, runs in the month of June, and works on strengthening communication and socialization skills for students who are struggling with Neurodevelopmental issues. We focus on under privileged children on the Spectrum of Autism that need the extra support and their families, so that the whole family is included in the process. Because, we are a center for learning and Autism Support services. And, Wholistic & Alternative Services.
BAFOL, Inc.'s Computer Lab & Library works one-on-one with students to help them learn and practice specific skills such as Microsoft Office, online KHAN Academy, and communication skill building. Our volunteer staff will provide support to answer students’ questions during each session.
