Dear Supporters, Friends, and Families,
On behalf of Booker Autism Foundation of Learning, Inc. (BAFOL), we are pleased to announce BAFOL’s Fundraising Dinner on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at the KYE’S l, located at 500 Missouri Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. This year’s theme is “Heart of the Community” and, honors community spirit and partnership that enabled BAFOL to achieve significant milestones over the last year on behalf of our families and children. Over 300 business, civic, national & local community leaders have been invited to gather at the BAFOL Gala to celebrate our collective work in building healthy, thriving Autism families and community.
We ask you to join us as our Fundraising Gala Sponsor. Your support will allow us to reach more vulnerable children and teens with quality programs that change lives and strengthen families. Since 2012, BAFOL has been steadfastly serving the needs of various families in the greater KY, IN, GA, TN area. Last year, over 50 children and adults were served Holiday Gift Bags filled with a dinner, dessert, and toys for Christmas. And, being a 100% volunteer ran and operated organization with no budget, we were able to personally assist families in getting the vital programs and services they needed. Such as: mental health services, child nutrition & wellness services. And, our very own BYC Executive Director and Founder the Hon. Rev. Dr. L. Jasmine L. Booker established a BAFOL BEARS ART CAMP with the Parks & Recreation Departments to collaborate in working with the colleges for Autism Support Activities and Services. As well as a BAFOL PC Lab, in partnership with the YMCA.
We humbly ask for your support on this special night to celebrate the strength, heart and soul of our community. We have attached information regarding our sponsorship levels. All donations will be recognized in our program book, auction table, social media platforms and website www.bafol.org/events. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent provided by law (Federal Tax ID# 45-4871106). Any donation would be greatly appreciated, large or small.
Thank you for your support.

At BAFOL, Inc. we aim to rebuild HOPE, where it’s been damaged or lost. We strive to ensure CONFIDENCE, where there is none. By being a VOLUNTEER OPERATED/RAN ORGANIZATION, we use all of our resources and energy to work with those individuals and families on the Spectrum of Autism in need, for FREE. Those individuals of whom are underprivileged, and those whom are abandoned, we strive to rebuild and restructure lives for our future generations. Our focus lies on Global Community concerns, which include GREEN LIVING, GLOBAL ASD EDUCATION, AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS, and Inclusion. BAFOL, Inc. firmly believes in the saying, "it takes a village to raise a child". We work globally on creating the most knowledgeable, understanding, and well equipped society for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Because, the solutions needed to work with anyone who is diagnosed with this condition, is delicate. We believe that anyone is able to teach someone else how to be compassionate, understanding, giving, and loving!
"EACH ONE EDUCATE ONE!"
BAFOL, Inc. invites families with children on the Spectrum of Autism to join us for a sensory-friendly guided Summer Enrichment Program, that is a break from the traditional scholastic atmosphere. Our BAFOL BEARS ART Program, runs in the month of June, and works on strengthening communication and socialization skills for students who are struggling with Neurodevelopmental issues. We focus on under privileged children on the Spectrum of Autism that need the extra support and their families, so that the whole family is included in the process. Because, we are a center for learning and Autism Support services. And, Wholistic & Alternative Services.
BAFOL, Inc.'s Computer Lab & Library works one-on-one with students to help them learn and practice specific skills such as Microsoft Office, online KHAN Academy, and communication skill building. Our volunteer staff will provide support to answer students’ questions during each session.
